Questions - 400 and 600 Together

Personally I'd like to have both lights the same wattage so I could use a flip flop switch & a single 600 ballast for both lights,but since you don't I'd use the 600 in the last weeks of flower & I'll tell you why.
The more powerful light will penetrate deeper into the canopy & since the plant is at it's maxium stretch hight wise,it will fatten up the lower bud sites better than the 400.

Well, I use a scrog setup, so i dont really have any lower bud sites. Where can I find more info about a flip flop switch? Id love to run 2 bulbs off one ballast, I didnt know that was doable.

Sorry Mike,I misread your first post.I thought you were running two seperate flower rooms,one with a 400,one with a 600,my bad.
I still stand by my advice about the lights in regards to plant age.
A flip flop won't work in your setup,you need seperate flower rooms for that.What it does is switch the light fixtures on & off in 12 hour intervals all using the same ballast.One light burns for 12,the ff switches that bulb off & then turns on the other bulb for 12,the ballast runs 24 hours continuously.
