Question with 12-12 lighting

I got a purple haze and an oragne kush in my closet. I just started 12-12 2 days ago. My question is, would it be okay for that cycle to get get fucked up some for one day? I need to go out of town tonight and wont be back untill tomorrow night. I don't have a timer and no fund to go buy one at this moment.

I also thought of putting them outside but its like 45 degrees out there.

help?
 
I think you would be fine for just one day. Remember it is a plant and things wont just change over night unless something in the ATM changes drastically. In your case I would keep the lights off the whole time, and then just go back to 12/12 when you return. Make sure that your plants have enough water, you don't want to come back to shriveled up plants. :)

it is very important that the first 12 days of flowering are monitored closely.

Any interuption of the 12/12 cycle during this stage can have serious implications, even inducing hermies.

do as Hidden Agenda said - buy a cheap timer. May have to consider gettting a relay unit, stops the timer from freezing "on" (they pull too many amps). But should be OK for a few days, usually take a week or two before they freeze.
 
oh my fault. I actually later thought of putting them by the window in the attic. its a small window and they didn't get a whole lot of light, but they stayed warmer than they would outside and still got enough light. but now they're back in the closet; makeing me fresh oxygen.

muy bien! learnin spanish. they do look a litlle stretched to me tough, maybe they're sposed to look like that. did you do 12/12 after sprout? if so its going prety good even if not. congrates
 
bigger containers are easier to manage

peope have have taken plants to harvest in shot glasses on here, but just like in hydro where a larger res is easier to manage, in soil the plant is way mroe stable when it's in a bigger pot.
 
it was about 4 weeks untill 12/12. does anybody have any idea how long preflowers start to show? its been 12/12 for a week now but nothing but some much larger plants.
