Question regarding tap water ppm

Ok so I was trying to figure out what the ppm reading would be for my tap water without using a ppm meter. I called the water district and asked about the levels of ppm for each of the following, and here's what he told me:

Nitrogen. 0
Phosphorous. 0
Potassium. 4.6ppm
Magnesium. 24ppm
Sulfate. 180ppm
Calcium. 59ppm

All of these added together equal 267.6 *So is my tap water ppm= 267.6?*

The reason I only got the answers for these nutrients is because these are the only ingredients in general hydroponics flora series. Any info regarding my ppm would be great. Thanks

Also, when I am mixing my nutes in 5 gallons of water following the mild growth section of the feeding scale, how would I go about mixing the correct amount of nutes considering what's already in my water? Should I still follow the general hydro feeding scale or do I need to put less of any of the flora series nutes? Thanks again

buy a ppm meter about 15 bucks if you are doing hydro you better get it now. You do not want to wait to find out what you got in the tank when you're girls are a couple months old and your first cahllenge shows up.
Yes to your question ad far as ppm's go most city water is about 200-300 ppm out the tap. Reverse osmosis water is .003 there about due to flux in communities/

Yes, that is your tap water ppm.

Many different ways of compensating for that. Start with 75% strength nutrients.

So how would I compensate my feeding ratio to water if I already have tap water ppm of 270? 75% or how would I calculate that to get as close as possible? Thanks again for the feedback!

Also, should I know the ppm for anything else in my tap water besides the info I already got?

Any other advice out their? What other nutrients in the tap water should I find out about? Besides the ones I already listed? I wasn't sure what to ask for so I just asked about the ingredients that were in the general hydro flora series, wasn't sure if I should find out the ppm for anything else that would effect my nutes or my plants. Thanks again
