Question Re: Nutes, lighting

Since no one answered my questions in my thread I figured I would try this:

According to the Fox Farm Feeding table it has me going to 12/12 after the 5th week can I go earlier?


If I do go earlier should I follow their feeding schedule for the 5th week and jump over the 4th week where I start adding Tiger Bloom or just follow the table

Also they state doing quite a few reservoir changes should I follow them?


Since my plants are around 12 inches high how high should my 400 watt HPS be above the plants? I raised it pretty high when I was gone for the week

You can go 12/12 whenever you want. Once you do that, I would wait until you see pre-flowers before you begin bloom nutes. Place your light as close as you can without burning your plants. Use your hand to determine this. If it's too hot for your hand, it's definitely too hot for your plants. As for rez changes, you should do it every week. I have a pretty big tank(30gal at all times, capacity of 55) so I empty and replace the nute solution every two weeks.

I just found out my 400 watt HPS bulb blew. You know where I can get one fast besides a hydro store? I hope I am not phucked. Looks like I have to start flowering now
