Greetings...I'm looking for suggestions for some supplemental side lighting sources for my current grow. I'm using a cabinet with an overhead 600w HPS and trellis / SCROG method. All is going great, however, the canopy is getting so thick basically no light can get through to any developing vegetation below. I have room on three sides of my cabinet for some small supplemental light sources. I'm thinking about using either three small lamps with cfl "daylight" bulbs in them or I saw these inexpensive LED lights on line and wondered whether they would work as well. The advantages of the LED lights is that a) they're cheap, and b) they're battery operated, and c) they look bright. Here's a link to what I'm talking about.
