Trying to find out if I could mount a propane tank above a HydroGen CO2 generator, I emailed their support box with the following:
"I am wanting to purchase one of your MiniGen CO2 Generators. However, I have limited space in my room and need to be creative with how this generator will be installed. My question is if it is possible to mount the propane tank ABOVE the CO2 generator rather than underneath it without creating any hazards or performance issues. "
I got this response from them:
"We appreciate your interest in our products. Ideally and legally, you should have the propane bottle placed outside. Any other placement of this tank would be a personal decision, and I wouldnt be able to advise otherwise. "
Is this just a legal disclaimer that they need to state with these types of questions? Running hose from my room outside is probably not an option. Do any of you guys store your propane tanks inside for use with your CO2 generators?
If so, does anyone know if mounting the tank above the generator is possible? I'd like to mount it above my room entirely to save space.
Thanks guys
