Is there a way to control the ph without the pH up/down chems?

Vinegar will lower ph and baking soda will raise ph. I don't know of anyone who uses vinegar to lower for a hydro grow but from what I read it will only lower it for a short time.

Spend the freakin money and just purchase phdown..... It's proven to work, safe, inexpensive and available.
