if ur still vegin use the mh....if ur ready to flower do ur hps.....my personal opinion: id do the mh till it gets a bit taller

OK, so what you should do is look at the amount of headroom ya got. Lets say you got 3 feet.
Figure the light for 6 inches and 8 inches away for a total of 14 inches. So you got a little under 2 feet to grow in. To get the most out of your plant you should go MH for a week, let her get used to it. Then top the plant and let the side branches catch up probably about two weeks then flip to 12/12 with the plant at about 18" tall. She will finish at about two feet and you will have two top colas and larger buds on the side.

yea i have the mh on it right now ,im gunna switch to hps in 2wks12/12 i want to wait for alternating nodes but i think the 12/12 might force them but not sure this my 2nd grow thanks man

yea i was gunna lst it but topping it would be easier at the moment they are growing much faster than b4 too love the new light.never topped a plant b4 but im pretty sure i know what to do ill get some more pics up of the grow space thanks 4 the advice

Ill get one up today my smaller plant has a nitrogen deff. I was gunna flush it cuz I got better nutes but I just watered it 2 days ago.they have red lines on stems and bottom two sets are turning yellow is that still a nitrogen deff.?
