question on lighting

adverse to switchin from a flourecent to a hps system for flowering, is there any coloured bulb that i could add to my flourecent setup that would act as an alternetive??? any help would be great

Why the hostility towards hps? If you switched to hps you'd be amazed at the results.

Or maybe you could give them some direct sunlight for a few hours every day. Else, you're just going to have to stick with flouro's.

Any extra light you can add will always be of some help.
 
Skunk is right the difference between cfl's and a hps is very dramatic. You can get in on the ground floor somewhat cheaply too if you go with a 400 watt system with a open hood.
 
if theres no way to get HPS use
Blue CFLs (((6400 kelvins))) for VEG
Red CFLs (((2700 kelvins))) for FLOWERING
