I received some clones yesterday and put them in soil and under a 300W MH last night at 9P.M. I plan to have them on an 18/6 lighting schedule, and since I started them at 9PM last night the lights are going off at 3PM.
Now, I wanted to have the light run from around 4-5PM and turn off around 10-11AM (as opposed to 9PM and 3PM.) So I needed to now if just switching the light on at 5PM, which would only give the clones 2 hours of darkness today, would cause too much, if any, stress?
Or should I do it gradually, like one hour a day, so it's not so sudden? (i.e. 9pm-3pm today, 8pm-2pm tomorrow, 7pm-1pm friday, etc... until it's from 4-5PM to 10-11AM)
