Question on Bloodmeal

Anyone got ideas on what i can do with some Fishblood?I got ahold of some of some yesterday half of a 20 0z bottle full , heard that its good for fertilizer but need some advice on mixing it with water or not.:eyesmoke:

It might be ok but I wouldn't use it. Tried and true stuff is cheap and the "free" fish blood might kill your plants.

i would burn it over a fire to

sterilize it
make it not so potent

or put in you composter and wait for a while

Be careful with additives..I've used algae and some other things, (calcium,mg, dolomite..etc) but some (algae, manure,and if not wrong bloodmeal) these can affect your N levels... and burn..I'd say if you use blood/bonemeals you might hold off on other reg nutes..till you're established a proper balance...One good burn and your crop is screwed up.... Sometimes the "toys" bite you..... IMO..Luck.

This like any nute has the potential to burn your plants just start with a week solution and build it up just as if your starting a seedling.

I've heard that the best thing to do, is to dig your hole and put a fish in the ground, bury it and let it sit for awhile, and then transplant your plant to that spot... just make sure you put the plant above the fish..
