Question for the Outdoor Growers.

So I have a quick question. I have a new growing area a few miles outside of where my mom lives and I have a question about Ditchweed. Since I live in Iowa there is a shitton of ditchweed out in the country. How far away do I have to keep my females? A buddy of mine told me its a 2 miles radius away from any male Ditch weed plant. Anybody else have anything on this?? Any suggestions on how far? or am I going to have to go around and chop down the males within a resinable distance?

We have no feral ganja here and I still get the odd seed. I wouldn't be surprised if those random bits of pollen came in on the wind from hundreds of miles away. Short of clearing out what you can find in the immediate vicinity, I doubt there is much you can do.

Of the three lonely seeds that were found in last season's not insubstantial haul, one I was able to germ. He or she is doing well, I'm really stoked to see just what kind of genetics got blown in to my patch, even though it was probably hemp or ditchweed pollen.

If there's male cannabis in your area, there's pollen on the wind and not much you can do about it.
