Question for cfl growers

Hey I was just gonna see if anyone else likes to put their plants out in the sun every once in a while. Is it a bad idea or is it okay to do?

I do it and i havent found a problem with it..
But i havent done it lately since all i have is snow right now

I put mine outside during the day all the time, but it's usually just for the wind. The light is a bonus but wind makes monster stalks.

Give them time and moar light and they'll be beasts! Different plants grow at different rates.

The OP on this thread got me thinking... Is it possible to grow near a window and redirect the direct sunlight via mirrors or mylar towards the plants?

You'd probably end up burning the plant with mirrors. I'm sure if you build a sun dome for your house that would be a great way to flower. It just doesn't seem practical though.

no need for hostility ppl. damn, pot heads are supposed to be calm and mellow... on the original ? about the sun, you should be careful. i stressed the shit out of a few plants on accident because i left them out in the sun too long. there was a big difference in temp from indoors to out and my babies looked completely dead. it was scary. my advise on that is a litttle at a time if you might have the same temp problem. like maybe 15-20 mins outside for a few days and slowly continue to increase it if ya feel the need. its great for the plants but kinda takes away from the spirit of INDOOR cfl growing imo. doesnt mean i wouldnt recommend tho....

now the clones should have adequite light in order for them to stay healthy. stress is always an issue and if you put the clones in less light then what the had before being cut.... more stress and a slower growth rate. hell i give my clones a lil more light. i have the same light set up for mothers and clones except for a flourescent grow light added to the clones
