Question concerning light schedule

Ok so i've got some babies showing fem after some long nights, and I'd like to veg them up a bit under some wattage.

My concern here being how much light stress is to much, can i put them under longer hours of light after they have been under lower amounts?

If its unclear what I'm asking please tell me.

the length of darkness is what matters, you can give them a longer light period, the amount of darkness is what should stay the same if you want to give them more light. dont know what youre trying to do. what is the current light cycle

ok so if they have only been exposed to 10.5 hrs of dark at most they should still be vegging so it shouldnt be a problem to bring it back in on a 18/6 or whatever. maybe gradually bring it to 17 so it doesnt shock the plant.

10.5 is cutting it pretty close though, i am almost positive i have read you can “reveg” a plant thats in early flower anyways.

are you talking about preflowers? my plants are still in veg and have them

if you have had them in flower under 12/12 for more then two weeks it will take the plant a long time to reveg under 18/6 it could take up to 3 weeks before the plants hormones revert to the vegetative stage.
it can be done and it shouldn't be a problem although when you go back to flower it could promote any hermaphrodite tendencies your strain of plant might have in its genetics

Ah that's the answer I was worried about.

My man its 10.5 of light not darkness, so actually dark hours are 14.5 currently. I wanted to kick it up to 12/12 cuz the days are only getting shorter.

so what im understanding is this.
they are currently on a 10 hour light 14 hour darkness schedule due to been having been outside.
you are wondering if its ok to bring them inside, then set them on a 12/12 light cycle, in order to get them more than 10 hours of light.
in my opinion it wouldnt be an issue, id probably just do 12.5 hrs darkness and 11.5 lights on just to be on the safe side, but i dont think that would be an issue at all. anyone else think that?
