Question concerning CFL's in grow box.

This is my first time growing and i chose to start off simple with a rubbermaid grow box. I just got the lights for my box, 2 26w 6500k CFL's. I plugged them in and put them in my box. The lights are so bright that the whole box lights up completely and isn't "stealth at all. The insides are lined with Mylar, the color of the box itself is a dark green.

Anythign i can do to help keep the light inside the box better?

Thanks!

I had the same problem with my box, I used some black spray paint to paint the inside, then put the mylar over the paint. It took a few pretty thick coats but now there is almost no "glowing."

If you try this, make sure you use a paint made for plastics or the paint will chip when the box bends and flexes. I used Kylon Fusion spray paint, worked great.

Honestly, I dont think doing ur first grow in a 'stealth style' grow is gonna be quite so simple. Jw about ur setup, lights and temps and such. Pullin off a truely stealth grow is hard to do

Thats basically a picture of what it looks like.

Cammo, if i add the foil will that be ok and not create too much heat, even with the mylar covering it?
