Question? Can you selectively pollinate individual buds?

Nice when a reply is appreciated. I will throw this in:

I have been pollinating this way for a few years now & have tried preparing the male pollen a lot of ways. Worked best for me if the pollen is totally dry so it does not clump. I sifted the pollen for awhile but being lazy I found that cutting the male flower & putting it directly inside the paper bag to dry worked great, the least effort to know that pollen is in the bag & not blowing around somewhere.

Fun to try several crosses on the same female. Good luck.

Also I’m sorta just making this up, I have no idea what I’m talking about, so someone correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m just thinking Punnett squares, for those of you familiars with Gregor Mendels work
....yeah, I'm sure we are all familiar with his work. Please continue, I learned more in those posts than in a few hours of research.
