Ok to keep it simple lets just say I want a ppm of 1000. So I have a 40gal res... I fill it up with 40gal of plain water add my nutes till it's at 1000ppm, adjust my ph to 5.5. I have that correct so far right? Ok heres my questions..

1-The next day if it was 1200ppm I add plain water until its at 1000 again and next feeding I use less nutes like around 800ppm or keep using 1000ppm?

2- If the next day it was at 800ppm do I add more nutes until its back up to 1000ppm or do I only add nutes once a week?

well when to add nutes imo as soon as you see roots now depending on how big your plants are i found throughout my grows that goin into the 1000 ppm at a early stage in plant growth will stress plants and burn them
what you need to do is make a food chart week 1 adding so much keeping track of your ppm week 2 adding a lil more nutrients
and to be honest keeping these charts to go back on is so goin to help your grows be more sucessfull i try to keep plants in the area of 750 to 850 ppm throughout veg and in flowering bringing it up to 800 to 900 last couple of weeks getting her as high as 1180 ppm

hope this helps you some strains are ok with heavy feeding but alot arent once you hit flowering cycle

Yeah I know what ppm I should feed at what stages of growth I was just using 1000ppm as an example to keep it simple.. this is my first hydro grow so im unsure about those questions.

huh... shit! just ignore me ,.,,

what's the starting ppm of your water, this is an important factor and no one can help till we know
Why would that matter? I'm not asking how much ppm to feed at....but its like 120
actually 1000 ppm is a bit high ...
For the 3rd time I'm using 1000 ppm as an example!

No I read your post but you didn't answer my questions.. I'm not asking when to START feeding them.. I'm asking about after I'm feeding them already.
