question about watering clones

So i took 23 clones today and i their under my florescent lights with a dome. Should i leave water in my tray so the rockwhool wont dry out? Good idea?
 
I would just water when needed, you want them to stay moist but not soaked. If they stay in water they will constantly wick up the water and stay soaked. jmo
