Question about trimming leaf's early

I am getting ready to harvest soon. I was wondering if trimming all the sun leaf's 2 - 3 days before I harvest will hurt , benefit , or do nothing to my plants. Please post your thoughts .

I believe this late in the process will not do anything good/bad... But could be wrong.

In the Grow Like A Pro video from High Times, they have a scene in where they take sheep shears and cut off all the fan leaves and what not a day or so before the plant is taken down.
I am just starting to flower my ladies but planed on drying before cutting but that's just me.

Most likely wont do anything, if you want to see any changes just stick them in the dark for a couple of days before harvest

im coming up on week 6 here on a batch, would it be ok to knock down some fan leaves on them? the la con is ~5 ft tall in the closet and the lower portion gets no light cuz its blocked out so badly so nothing low is developing well. same with the purple diesel to a point.

is 2 weeks too early?
