Question about trichome coloration

im supposed to be harvesting 3 bubba kush plants in a few days. the thing is my trichomes arent amber yet. they look very very milky. so my question is does anyone know how long it takes to go from a very milky trichome to amber? im pretty sure i wont be harvesting sunday, which is the 60 day mark. so maby 70 days. anyway im getting pretty impatient.

I have found that inducing a 24-36 hour dark period before harvest will bring out more amber tricombs and also make your exisinting milky ones turn. So far so good with me. Some people say 24 is enough but consensus is 36 is best, really brings out the frangrance too. Doing it now with Ak-47.
