So my girls are 3 weeks old and they have just started growing their 5th set of true leaves. Currently the fifth set are around 1/8 of an inch big. How big do they have to be before I pinch and remove??? Is there a cut off point were it's too late?
Quick follow up question - This pic shows two arrows pointing down at the leaves that have grown since topping, the arrow pointing up to the middle is pointing to the new growth? These are my two new chutes right?
Now this is my other plant. Topped the same way, at the same time. But as you see there is barely any new growth there. Will this one recover with time and grow the two chutes?
(Sorry I couldn't get a better pic to show this plant, the new growth is that small !! lol)
Yes, those are your new shoots (not chutes). Might wanna study up on plant anatomy so you understand where the dormant buds reside and how hormonal responses plays a part in the final profile of your plant.
