Theoretically speaking, you can tell a cop anything you like before he arrests you. If he thinks you're growing marijuana, whatever you say wont make any difference.
And why would you be growing "in plaine sight", in the first place? And why would you invite cops in, in the second place?

like someone already said, doesnt matter what u say to the feds they are gonna arrest you no matter what if they think u are growing weed! so u will get arrested either way and the plants will be tested. and not sure about texas but where i am from if your just growing 2 plants u will get away with it

A buddy of mine is a lawyer, she reped a guy that got caught with 20 seedlings, not his first offense, but just seedlings. He got 5-15 years.

LOL and the plants will be tested? I dont think the cops are gonna run a whole CSI team to try to find out what it is. A simple google search could tell you lol!

the thing is that they're still seedlings, and theoretically speaking the person can only move it a couple weeks from now. But, if trouble arises I was wondering if that said person may lie about the plant being something that looks similar to a seedling of a cannabis plant.
