question about pollinating

i have an indoor grow and recently one of the plants i was waiting to show its sex turned out to be male. I was away overnight and it seems the pods formed overnight. I immediatley removed it from the garden. my question is this; hypothetically if that male had pollenated some of the female pistils, will the pollen be good and therefore seed my females no matter when i bud them? For example if they got pollen on them today but i didnt bud them for another 2 months, would they still seed?

bump... i see everyone posting answers to the same questions over and over again, is this a dumb question or does no one know the answer?
