question about mounting titan controls light controller

so i bought a light controller from titan controls it didnt come with much instructions i'd like to screw it directly to a sheet of plywood since the box looks like it has 4 knockouts for that. but was unsure about these metal plates that came along with it in the box maby someone can tell me what there for, are they to be placed between the plywood and the box?

I think the metal plates mount on the back and they then screw to the wall with the anchors.

L1 and L3 are current carrying conductors and the little lug behind them is the ground.

i had an electrician friend check it out i got it all mounted, i'll be getting it wired up once i get my new panel in, it looks great thanks for helping me pick a brand for light controllers helped me out for sure . i may post some more pictures once my 2 ton mini split comes in and the brackets for it i'll be installing that as well. you've been very helpful in this forum. heres another picture just need 4 new ballasts now instead of those two old ones
