question about lumatek ballast and reflector cord.

Just got an order in from HTG, got the cooltube 6...

I noticed it came with a socket already installed in it...

I bought my lumatek from a different place (hasn't came in yet)

and I had to buy a separate socket for the lumatek...

now, will I have to take this socket out of the cooltube and replace it with the hydrofarm socket once it comes in?

I'm a little confused, and such a noob about this lighting/electrical stuff
