Question about lighting days outside nights inside

So I'm going to be starting a new grow in about a 1 1/2 months. I want to run a 24 hour light cycle in veg state. The thing that worries me is I was planning on keeping plant outside during daylight hours then bringing it inside and putting under lights at night. My worry is the difference in light intesities maybe showing abnormal growth or hurting the plant in some other way. Worst case senerio I can think of is it streching due to the intense sunlight for 12 hours then being brought in under artificial lighting for 12 hours. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
