question about leaves

i have a couple plants that are 4 weeks into budding and some of the bigger fan leaves have been turning yellow and falling off, this is normal and i should let it happen correct? the plants just using the nutes in the leaves then they fall off right? if i were to cut them off would it just go to another leaf quicker? i think im right i just want to know what you all think

its best to just let them dye off, and pull em off when they are about to fall or already fallin.
