Question about harvesting my NLB

I have a Northern Light Blue which is in day 42 of flowering but very close to harvest. I just noticed some amber trichs on the top buds and the rest are milky.
Here's my question.
I hit on this in another thread. My problem now is her soil wont dry. I feed my 7 plants (6 white widow 1 NLB) every 3rd. day. They are getting only distilled water from here out. Ive never had a problem with any of them. Usually they are all dry and droopy before a watering. Last feeding I noticed the NLB was still damp, even the top soil. After asking around I believe she's still wet because of slower uptake at the end of flowering. This morning she is still damp, even on top. Her sisters have all dried out AGAIN and they were watered 2 days ago. I skipped the NLB watering. It doesn't appear she will dry, even with a fan lightly blowing on her. The temps are 78-80 degrees and R/H is 45-50%.
I want to chop her very soon but I read to let them dry out just before you chop them. What would you do?? Wait a bit and risk any problems in the soil?? Is she done drinking and the soil will never dry so just chop her???
Need some expert input...
I posted a ton of pics in the last thread, here are some of the NLB in question, I think she's done! :joint:
Thanks for any help.

go ahead and chop. don't know why you'd want to dry the roots anyway...
Everything, well not everything, but most of what I read about harvesting was a dry soil before harvest makes drying a bit quicker. I'm not in a rush here. I don't want to cut corners with them. I'll dry and cure slowly but I thought drying them out promoted a last resin production and easier drying after chop.

My biggest worry now is the moisture. Nothing that stays wet for a long time in a room 80 degrees is good. I am worried about something growing in the root area that could get into the buds..

i grew hydro, had no problems whatsoever with resin production. if you have adequate air flow, drying isn't ever a problem. i'd just chop it, letting it wilt seems counter intuitive.

I don't think a quicker dry is going to help flavor/potency...

Everything I've heard (+experienced in 20 years of growing) suggests that a slow dry/cure is the best method.
