Howdy yall, anyone know what the average time length is from sprout to being able to sex check????

Probably a lot longer than what your thinking. It entirely depends on the conditions you expose your plant to. Is it under 24 hours of 1000w MH or is it sitting in your windowsill catching 2 hours of direct sunlight every day? If you are committed to this find a quiet little place, don't tell anyone, and BE PATIENT, you will get what you are after. GL

well.... depending how long you plan to veg, your lighting, and other conditions it can vary.
my personal experience. from seedling... I veg for about 30 days or until the plants are 1.5ft tall. Then I throw them into flowering. after about 3-7 days you can start to see the sex on mine. but again it can be longer depending on the light you use, so this is just personal experience. now I clone, so I never have males to have to figure out the sex from anyways.

what were you using for a set up

I vegged with T5HO 2x2' 6500K
Then once in flowering, and a bit taller, added 4x42W 2700K cfl for both, front and back side lighting and switched T5 to 3000K spectrum.
Closet grow about 3x3x2 area

how many plants did u have probo? i got pretty much the exact same situation for me and im about to start my first grow
