question about distance...

im wondering if keeping my hps too close to the plants will stunt growth any?? i have a 250 about 3 inches away, but the way i have set up forced air cooling and have a fan blowing on the safety glass right over my plant, the temps stay pretty low. is it possible for them to be too close even if they dont get hot??

put your hand under it has far as u got your light to your plants for like a good min or 2.. to hot for your hand to hot for your plants..

sweeet naw they dont get hot at all, i could prolly actually move it closer and still stay below 80. it just seems like the buds are growing super slow. of course i lstd her and have 14 tops....

there is no such thing as to close if there is no heat issues... You can have them touch the glass if it doesnt get to hot
