question about coco and watering schedule

hey everyone. atm i use coco as my medium for my hydroponic set-up. its a dripper system and then drains back into my reservoir. my question is how often can you water (with decently oxygenated water) without causing damage? because i guess the more times i can water them, the more nutes they take up, the faster and bigger she'll grow? correct if i'm wrong and there is a feasible limit to how often it can take up nutes.

i currently water 4 times a day 1 minute each when veg and 2 times a day for 2 mins during flower.

I used coco on my last grow and although it wasnt a hydro drip system, I still watered them almost everyday. They couldnt seem to get enough water so I think your pretty safe with what you got going or even more. The coco doesnt really absorb and hold water.

yeah coco is hard to overwater.
your assumption about more water = better isnt true tho. as long as they get what they need the rest just washes thru.

now the opinion part :
ive tried recycling coco drippers and its shit.
the ph goes down as fast as the EC goes up.
putting PH up in regularly is bad, but EC going up is really bad.
people using coco should run to waste.

it sounds shitty but its what people are doing. i water once a day in veg, twice in flower for a minute or 2
there is a little trickle of waste water only, maybe 2 litres a week <- this is bugger all
every watering is fresh clean water, and my biggest problem is the plants getting too big :)

i haven't noticed much of a PH flucuation.. maybe 0.1->2 every 10 days to a fortnight. and my EC also doesn't change that much either :S maybe i'm just lucky but i'll continue running a recycling set-up. living in australia = water restrictions. so ill do my part to help them battling farmers...heh. But yeah seems my schedule is just fine. i'll fuck around with it a bit next grow and see what happens and probably post my results. enjoy. happy growing :D

i'm growing some indicas and a sativa hybrid all together in 3 gal pots of canna coco with added grodan coco croutons and perlite.

they're vegging under 4' 6400k t5's and their space is kept 70-79F and 40-65% rh with lots of airflow to keep temps consistent.

i was feeding with gh floranova and some botanicare cal mag but they didin't seem to like it. i spend the last couple days flushing and resumed feeding today with canna coco a+b. i do drain to waste and feed every other watering.

i hand water 2-3 times per day giving each pot 1L per watering and still i notice my girls are drooping off and on. i have granddaddy purples about 10" tall/5 weeks from cutting that seem to droop every time they sleep.

my biggest problem is that i don't know if i'm over or under watering them. how can i tell the differences?
