question about air intake. please help!

I have a 5x5 tent set up, so its a room inside a room.. Heat is not a problem because i use LEDs and i do exhaust the tent with a carbon filter, but should i have an intake fan as well? Or can i just leave the flaps of the tent open? Does that provide adequate intake? Will having the flaps open during flowering smell my whole room up? If an intake is reqired any recommendations? quietest one possible.
 
exhausted into the room in the room? if you exhaust into another room then the negative pressure will not let smell escape intakes provided that exhaust fan is decent cfm.
 
What slow said, you'll be good as long as air is suckin through them flaps. Abide by your carbon filters cfm rating if available for max effectiveness, should be able to maintain negative pressure doing so.
 
intaking and exhausting in the same room I wouldn't do that you're gonna have neg pressure in the tent yes but not in the room
