Question about air flow.

Hey guys, I have a big question about controlling smell.
Before I start, I can't get a carbon filter or scrubber or anything like that. I don't have the money.

I got a 20 inch box fan and a filter that kills smoke and allergens and so on. I'm going to put the filter on the back of the fan so it blows out clean air.
I was thinking of putting the fan in front of my closet so all the smell from the plant gets sucked into the fan filter, which will prevent a lot of smell.

My other option was to keep my fan that I use for just air circulation and have the box fan a couple feet away from it, that way it is still kind of close to my closet. What do you guys think?
I'm also getting an air purifier and ozone generator. I know ozone generators are bad for your health but I'm putting it right outside my room.

I'm so excited you guys. I think I will be able to grow this plant successfully without the smell reaching outside or downstairs.

There really is no way around the smell. One plant is manageable with lots of tricks. But all the money your going to spend doing that would cover a good fan and filter. Your plan will cost you every time. You only need to buy a fan once, and if your doing one plant at a time that filter might last you a year or so. 4 inch fan and filter is cheap. If you can always go bigger like a 6 inch or 8. Eventually you'll want bigger so...

"You don't have any money to buy a carbon filter and fan, but you do have money to by an ozone generator and an air purifier?"

exactly what I was thinking. Plain and simple...if you don't have money for a proper setup you should just save up and wait till you can buy some proper equipment.
