Would one of those store bought vaporizers that have a water reservoir be suitable for an aeroponic setup? I'm trying to plan out my 2nd grow and move off from soil and into something different. I was imagining a system with a vaporizer one the bottom and a box built over the top of it with a plant(s) suspended above it. The vaporizer would be on a seperate timer from the lights and then just add nutrients and so forth to the mix. Would this be a dumb idea?

Those vaporizers clog even with the Vics that is made to go into them and I only use the damn thing at night. LOL
Cheapest probably DWC and the best bang for the buck I could see so far is the Stinkbud systems.
DWC is cheap, easy and simple so if that is what you are after I think that's your baby, frankly I think I will be building a DWC also just to play with. Couple airstones and a dual output aquarium air pump, reservoir and a netpot. You could add a drip system to it too. Lots and lots of examples out there.
