Quality lights Chepa lights??

I was looking to buying this 400w kit for my closet set-up. BUt just want to make sure eveything in the kit is of good quality. Is their a difference in quality of lights (name brand VS Cheap) This is the kit Im looking to buy on ebay and just want to make sure its not crap. heres a link to the auction on ebay:

If theirs any real reason why I shold NOT buy this PLEASE someone let me know. The sooner I know its good quality the sooner I could buy it and be on my way

Dude, I got mine off ebay too from the guy on the link below. Its a little cheaper on his and I've been really happy and almost done with my first grow with it. It says the bulbs are higher intensity too. I was looking at the reflector on the one that you were looking at and it doesn't look very reflective either. Its not smooth or as shiny, I dunno, just compare them but I'd go with this one

WOW, thanx for the link. Ill be buying that one instead of the one I thought I wanted. It is a few dollars cheapier and come with a good timer also

Whats the convesion MH bulb mean? Should I just discard it and get a real MH bulb? Or are they the same?

Its fine, its a HPS ballast and a mh bulb that will work fine with it. You couldnt use a standard mh bulb

Alright, my light kit came in the mail today. Im just got done putting it together. Now I know these lights dont come on full power right away. but damn its been over 10 mins now and only the little bulb in sides had lit up some. How long did it take yuor MH conv bulb to come full power the first time used turned it on?
Im hoping by the time I get a response, the light will either be fully lit or I can assume somethings up with it.
I screwed it in nice and tight. I do have an extension cord pulled on to the ballast, but it is a HD 120V 15a cord.
But well see.

Never mind, I just got it to come full power now. It was screwed in all the way, but for some reason when I moved the light fixture over on the floor. It shook a little and I could see thew light try to come on. So I put on a leather glove and reached my hand in with the light still on and moved it a round alittle and all the sudden it came on full power. I dont know if shaking it alittle or any movement will loseen the bulb. But I know its on their tight. So IDk, it just had to be moved around some. But either way. It working.
Whcih means Im finally starting to moved forward. IN a week or so I should have a few sprotlings
