This is my first time growing in coco ..

I wanted to try my hand at a cup challenge.
We shall see...

I will be growing six plants

Ice cream cake s1 by Boneyard genetics
Shoreline bx by Shoreline genetics
Crippy by Shoreline genetics
Crippy by 808 genetics
ECSD by Shoreline genetics
Shoreline x Stardawg by GreenPoint seeds

Lol, giving yourself extra room with those large cups! Glgl. A real one tries the dixie grow ;]

But fr coco is great, hope it goes well.
 
Yeah I normally grow in 5 gal. Buckets...
I Dont know what to expect from a solo cup.
I hope to at least harvest 7 grams per cup.

I also have a feeling these trees are going to get BIG ...leaving my closet packed...

If i could get a single cola...i would be golden.

Lots of nervous energy on this grow...
I dont want to overwater...
Its high security
I could get males
Blah blah blah

Ill wing it an see

Luckily you aren't gonna overwater these ones in coco. Its a LOT OF WORK keeping solo cuppa weeds hydrated and happy. They will drink their whole root volume of nutes in like an hour.
 
Keeping those constantly fed will be a chore. I am guessing every 3-4 hours will be needed daily to feed/water in the smaller containers. One day I may attempt this as I have seen some nice plants, but also heard how much work it required to get them there. Good luck. :cool:
 
The biggest part for me right now...
Is going from seed to seedling...

Im taking this one stage at a time...
Once i get a grip on coco as a media
I think ill be fine...

So getting seeds above ground is where my focus is...

Ill post pics in a few days
 
Its very easy to grow....its just such a small amount that it doesnt really add up to grow them....

You still are using the regular amount of lights an time... for a micro amount of product.

I think i was just desperate to test my coco skills out....

I like solo cup plants when the temperature is right. They get proportionately larger in my experience than their larger pot counterparts of the same strain. Especially in coco. But if you don't have time to figure out how to water them, or are using a nutrient regiment that is expensive it may fall flat. I tend to get an ounce and a half off of solo cups, and they finish a little faster because on my 3 gallon grows i wait for the roots to fill the pots. If i had infinite knee cartiledge and grit i would do wall to wall small pots.
