QB960 (960xlm301b) quantum board from China

Hello grøwers,

I came across this 960 diode LM301B quantum board on Alibaba. Claims to use SK bins. I asked him if they guaranteed the bin quality and he complied and said he will sell with trade assurance.

They only want $120 for this board. I'm looking at getting 2 of them for a 6x6 space and they are giving me the Meanwell 600w driver for $200.

Seems legit? No?

What size are the boards?

Did u ask him for board temps when running @480W with no heatsink?

Nah man... These are top bins : LM301B Vf AZ flux Bin SK. They even sell them on their Alibaba site. This dude claims to have produced for HLG and other big players... Not sure, but seems their shop ticks all the right boxes in terms of quality...

What is more interesting, however, is that these boards are 480w each. Does that mean I have to fork out the cash for 2 HLG-480H's? There must be a better and cheaper way?

I can't post links, but here is a screenshot.

Well yeah, trust is always an issue when buying from China. I might be dumb, but I ain't stupid. He was willing to guarantee that they were top bin diodes and I could return the board and be refunded if they weren't.

Dimensions:
28cm x 90cm x 2mm

Hmmmm...... the only real info I see on the Alibaba is from @chuckduck , a member of RIU
Who got boards made by this company a while back.

If your heart is set on budget big boards maybe try Meijui on Alibaba website...?

I did a bunch of research and from what I found Meijiui was a legit source for top bin supplies. They sent me test reports and pictures of the Samsung sealed products they were using in the 480W LM310b boards. It was more pricey then some other vendors but the quality is surprisingly good!

and how exactly are you gonna check that they are legit?

Dont fall for it.. shipping is as expensive as the item they know you wont return it even if its bad quality or wrong bin or even wrong led in some cases..trade insurace on alibaba? Ive heard mostly bad comment about people trying to use that service.. ive seen thaf seller name comes up a few time so google it and see what people say.. i just think very unlikely that they are lm301b top bin diodes.. still doesnt mean they cant grow good.. just understand trade guidelines in china and rest of the world is very different.. good luck

Do a search for "Hansion" on this site and see how "honest" the company is.

I'm sure they will grow plants. Just as I'm sure you'll get what you pay for.
