QAnon & the Republican Party

I'm honestly surprised at how many democrats in the survey believe that stuff.
Everyone's under the same attack man, and nobody is immune to it.

The human brain is just wired in a way that makes us able to instantly convince us that the lies we are seeing in real time is reality, even though we know for a fact that it is not.

The reality is that we are wired to believe what we already accept as truth. So once we've "made up our mind", despite new evidence being presented which should cause us to reassess our positions, we are more likely to discount that new found evidence as false. That's why it's important to not settle too firmly into a position too early.

Supporters of Donald Trump seem to be having trouble finding a safe space online.

Notorious Trump aide Jason Miller is leading the new social media site GETTR. But the site hasn't been all some of his supporters had hoped for.

While Trump has called social media moderation "cancel culture," Daily Beast reporter Will Sommer — who tracks the far-right online — explained that some QAnon cultists are "growing irate" with the lack of moderation.

There may also be a problem with people on the left creating fake accounts to troll Trump supporters, as Washington Post reporter Drew Harwell noted.

Infamous former Trump aide Jason Miller appeared Thursday night on Newsmax, where he practically begged his ex-boss to join his new "cancel-free" social media platform, Gettr. As of Friday morning, Trump had not joined Gettr, which quickly became a laughingstock, and Bloomberg's Jennifer Jacobs has reported that the former president has no plans to do so.

Meanwhile, the Daily Beast reports that Gettr was bankrolled by fugitive Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui, a close associate of pardoned Trump strategist Steve Bannon.

"Guo, a vocal critic of the Chinese government who is wanted in that country on corruption charges, has developed close ties to top Trump allies," the Daily Beast reported. "The billionaire paid former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon at least $1 million dollars, and teamed up with him to promote a Chinese doctor's claims that the coronavirus was created by the Chinese government. When federal authorities arrested Bannon on fraud charges in August 2020, they found him on a yacht owned by Guo."

Politico notes that Guo's media empire, G-TV Media, has also been the subject of investigations by the FBI and SEC.

Miller claims although Guo provided "seed money" for GETTR, he isn't a direct investor in the site, which is backed by "an international consortium of investors."

During his appearance on Newsmax, Miller said: "I will tell you that that 'real Donald Trump' is reserved for the 45th president, my favorite president, so if he does decide to join the platform then we'd love to have him, if he'll be able to come and join. So that is set aside especially."

If QAnon is supportive of children's rights, WHY DON'T THEY ACTUALLY HELP ANY KIDS???

That ship canal fiasco, for example. ...it was alleged that Hillary Clinton was using that ship to ship children off to some sex buffet, I guess . .. Q-heads purport that the ship was then taken over by QAnon members, who then diverted the ship to block the canal. . . ..INSTEAD OF RESCUING THE KIDS OFF THE SHIP.

I mean cmon.
