[Q]14/10 light schedule from seed

So i'm near the end of my harvest. Pretty disapointed because i messed the lights up once and they hermied and i got shit weed ...
My question is: what would happen if i were to flower 14/10 from seed, no veg time ?
will any of these scenarios occur ?:
-harvest in 6 weeks
-atleast 1/2 oz per plant

I have a 150w HPS and i want to do a SoG style grow. I need it to end fast because i want to avoid the heat of late august.

Another question:
What if i got 12/12 from seed. I've read in many places that i need to have atleast 2 weeks of veg. I want to avoid that because last grow i did that and when i flowered it got like 4-5 times the height of veg and i had to really force them inside ...
If i dont let it veg will it take it longer to flower overall ? (if it takes 10 weeks to end harvest, i'm better off vegging 2 weeks, then flowering
Might i get an expected yield so reduced and of poor quality that i might as well not do a 12/12 ?

First answer: Even when going 12/12 or 14/10 from seed, there will be a couple weeks in the beginning that the plant will still veg it will just show its preflowers when she's ready. You can prolly get more than .5 of an oz though. Check out the 12/12 from seed thread that stuff is amazing. Some of those guys are pullin multiple zips off one plant. So it's definitely possible.

Second Answer: It really just depends on the plant strain and even the individual pheno. Some plants do really well with 12/12 from seed, other plants not so well. I have heard that a 14/10 rather than 12/12 can actually speed up the ripening process on your buds but I've never personally tried this.

The longer the dark period the faster the flowering, to a certain degree. But it will make you suffer on yield.

Thank you, gentlemen. So, if i can get a decent crop from 12/12, then 12/12 it will be. The 30 degrees+ celsius from august really scares me. It will go 35+ in my growbox.

I just got almost two Zs from my 1st successful grow.

It was 12/12 from seed and grew with a phat N deficiancy most of the grow but still ended up being what im used to if not better then the bag i got the seeds from.
