Putting my Trousers on just in time

Hello, I am going to be doing a seed run in May, I have a nice female I would like to preserve for future use. I plan to veg out a plant take my clones then once my clone is rooted I want to hit it with some Cs and use that to pollinate it's mother. My Question is on timing, I have dabbled with breeding a little before but always a streight male female situation, Using the Cs to cause a female to produce male flowers is new to me, this will be the first time I would have done it. How long does it take to produce the male flowers once you put your mature plant on a 12/12 cycle? should I put the female on 12/12 2 weeks before the one treated with CS or can they both be started at the same time??

short answer, for a full on seed crop:

Spray the plant for two weeks before flower, then put it in 12/12, keep spraying it for two more weeks
put the plant you want pollinated in 12/12 with the shemale a week after the shemale was put in 12/12

The cs will stunt the sprayed plant a bit, so it needs a couple extra weeks.
I like to have the pollen going full blast when the buds are ready to receive it.
Let the buds go much longer than you normally would. The seeds should get huge and start falling out of the buds.
You should try to save some pollen for future use in little one use packets to selectively pollinate future plants.
