Purple wreck live report

Hi guys smoking a joint of Reserva Privada purple wreck right now, pretty good weed, got only one pheno from one plant, was trainwreck dominant smoke with the urkle structure and purpleness...Low yielder, chopped at 70 days with half purple beautiful nugs, good crystal formation that puts up early...The smoke after 3 weeks of curing is interesting...clean taste with hashy undertones not fruity at all, a little skunky/diesel not very defined dark taste...No expansion very smooth and u catch some old school flavours...The smell is very good when ground up, much more fresh than the smoke, almost lemony mentholated...As for the effect i would say that i'm pretty fucked up, well balanced high that leaves you creative but it slaps on your ass after half hour...but for now very heady confusing effect that slows down the things...Vote 7/10 maybe there are better phenos to be found in theese beans...Is definetly some potent weed with indica dom effect but lacks a bit of flavour and smell (pretty musky skunky) and the plant is a very low yielder...If you want bag appeal this plant is definetly for you..

I'm a really big fan of DNA/Reserva privada. I grew their lemon skunk last year from seed straight to flower no veg in dwc bucket under a 400 Watt and got just a little under 3 ounces no pinching nor training. Dense fucking buds completely full of shiny pearly trichomes. The high wasnt spectacular but what a bag appeal and yield! not to mention it was more than easy to grow.
I think the best indica smoke I've ever had was their Holygrail kush. Also an easy strain to grow but needs more attention. But in my opinion Holygrail kush is tastiest weed i have ever tasted hands down. It tastes like a lime/lemon strepsil sour as hell. It reminds you of good tasting throat medicine and tastes even more when you exhale for one's surprise. I mean unreal. That beautiful taste lingers in your mouth for a good half hour after you smoke the joint (if you manage to finish it). I'd been smoking weed everyday in slightly extreme amounts for over 5 years prior smoking holygrail kush. After three drags there were tears shedding from the corner of my eyes for being so stoned like a crazy fucking head hit, almost like you suddenly put on a tight cap but it feels somewhat pleasant. I dont smoke it often cause one blunt fully smoked has high probability of sending you to sleep. It's a nice yielder as well but no matter how little it gives you i have no doubt you'll be shocked with that strain.
I got the seeds because i fell into their marketing crap that said on their website something like holygrail kush a plant we'd take with us on a desert island. I thought no one could possibly ever claim that. But fuck me i have not taken a flight across the pacific without those seeds on me hoping the plane would crash

I hope to try everything dna/reserva have there are only one or 2 strains i would be ok without trying. I've never tried purple wreck but i've had plenty of train wreck and i find it a very sickening strain, as in i dont really feel like smoking it much more than a coupla days in a row. Is the purple wreck less sickening? How much Train wreck is really noticeable?

to Klite I just harvested some Holy Grail Kush and yeah it is awesome. Wish I did a run with it rather than having just one plant. Oh well have 6 Kosher Kushes in flower and a og#18..amongst other strains .

Ye i've smoked og 18 and kosher kush thought not grown them. I know for a fact the OG 18 is an amazing strain cause im growing lemon og kush which is a cross of lemon skunk and og18. Since i've grown lemon skunk as well i can really see the og 18 in this cross. Its very stable almost no pheno variations some plants branchier than others and you could NOT believe the lemony sweetness fueliness in the room. I think this might be dna/reserva's best strain for commercial purposes while keeping in mind conoisseur's needs.
OG 18 is fucking UNREAL smoke as well pure lemon sweetness with some fuel to it tasty as fuck on the exhale. The kosher is just really fucking !strong! quite earthy and very musky kush. I think that the holygrail still could do with some more genetic stabilization, there are a few different phenos there and I think the one that sits right in the middle of the two is the true holygrail one. I think this is what leads to different opinions about the strain,You do get people online saying it's not all that, but i think its important to know the family to understand the and select the children. I really think it will be a few decades until i find another strain as good as the holygrail. It's like they got two unbelievable kushes from the og line and cross them for the ultimate all time kush. It's been a while since i found out about holygrail kush and it still gets me as excited even just thinking about it as it did the first time i smoked it. I wana give everyone clones of that.
Since we're on the hint of great kushes have you ever had MK ULTRA by THSEEDS?

I absolutely agree...Its a wonderful plant...best looking one i have grown without a doubt...And its fucking frosty (2 weeks in flower and its already covered in crystals)...After another month of cure nothing better to report on flavour or smell...just became much smoother but the effect now is reeeally strong indica...You will find yourself asleep in the next 2 hours thats guaranteed...And if not the effect really lasts that long...Strong and beautiful medicine is everything i can say...Just this pheno wasnt for the tasters..

Sorry to jack the thread but since you're already here... I'm trying to decide between running og18 and holy grail and wondering if anyone tried both and which you prefer?

In my opinion they are both brilliant strains! The og 18 you are guaranteed the sickest soury lemon taste in a kush with very! potent! high! The holygrail when you find the right pheno has a taste you will NOT forget because it will not leave your mouth for a goooood while after you smoke it plus it's stupidly strong. I prefer the Holygrail kush though if you are only popping a couple a seeds go for the og18 cause youll be guaranteed to get the true og 18 taste and high. though if you have space for quite a few go for the holygrail and youll get the different spectra of the family's traits and choose the pheno which smells like sweet lemon strepsil.

Thanks klite, I've been leaning towards hgk since it has og18 in it but was still unsure. Your input might have just made my decision a little easier

Did you guys have to introduce cold to get the purple?

purplewreck was one of my first successful grows had a green pheno & a purple one as with all r/p-dna stuff ive grown since the overall quality is good the og18 purplewreck cross is on my hit list & sometime in the near future im gonna start back up with my favorite r/p strain to date.... skywalker pheno #3 which self pollinated & i have seeds to start over with i plan on playing with this one for awhile
