Purple Stems?

Hey all I'm learning as i go and a very new grower but ive come a long way since i started 2 months ago. i have a nice new setup and just need some guidance.

I have 2 pineapple express clones I got off a friend that im having an issue with. but first here is what i have as my setup.
im growing in a 4x4x6 grow tent and i have a 1000 watt MH bulb and my ballast is a digital 1000 watt but dimmable. i currently have it set at 750 watts.

I'm feeding General hydroponics flora series as well as cal mag + I also add a small amount of molasses to feed the Mycorrhizae in my soilless mix. My soilless mix that i have is a blend of 50% rainwater and limestone washed coir fiber, 25% perlite, 25% pumice, Mycorrhizae and paramagnetic sand.

So my issue that im having is some really purple stems at the top of the plant, it seems to be growing fine but i just figured green stems would be better. I also have a small deficiencies on one of them and any advice would be great.

With my lights, should i put the ballast up to the full 1000 watts?

Thats normal colors of the strain, not deficiency. Usually the purple stems (that we dont want) are followed by curling and stunted growth;) The whole stem turns, not just patches;) Your plants look fine

In my opinion the plant is not happy with your environment or food regimen. I would make changes, but only small ones, until the right combination is found.

Your setup has significant limitations - starting with the containers you are growing in. If you aren't watering until there is runoff you will quickly lock-up your medium. GH Flora is not intended to be used like you are doing it.

Also note in the last pic you posted it appears the plant is dropping leaves and/or they are falling off easily when you pull on them. It's another indication she's not happy, not a genetic trait.
