Purple stems due to phosphorus or garage temps?

I have had a previous problem with phosphorus deficiency before, but a few times during the past 2 weeks my grow partner told me that the garage temps got so cold he could see his breath. There is no signs of any nutrient missing as all the leaves are very green so I was wondering if the plant just got a bit too cold and turned the stems purple? PS I added some 0-51-34 powder nutrient to the plant today to see if it will help the purple and if not, then maybe it was the temps. I turned off a bigger fan in the garage and closed up an outside hole that was most likely causing such a temp drop. and about the burnt plant in the single clay pot.... yea failed experiment when high putting a MH bulb too closePhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.00.jpgPhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.00 #2.jpgPhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.00 #3.jpgPhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.01.jpgPhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.05.jpgPhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.06.jpgPhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.07.jpgPhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.07 #4.jpgPhoto on 2010-12-01 at 20.07 #5.jpg
