purple stem

So I germinated a few shwaa beans and one of the plants has a purple stem. Is this unusual?

Not at all, sometimes they stay purple or it might turn green. If it doesn't turn green it might be a phosphorus defficancey.

Is that something to be worried about? or is it just a genetics thing?

Nothing to worry about right now. If it doesn't grow out of it then maybe look into it.
