Purple stem during veg mean anything?

Hey guys, i got 2 GDP clones from a friend and they are in veg getting bigger everyday. I plan on using them as my mothers because grand daddy purple is such a good strain. The stems have now turned very purple and i was just wondering if it ment anything bad or good, like a deficiency or something. They are all a very good purple color not just one or 2. I got some pics.



does this mean it is legit grand daddy purple?

Looks good to me and the new growth looks good aswell. My plants are starting to turn purple including the main stem and smell real nice so I think it's normal. Just keep and eye on the new growth and the conditions of the existing leafs. If they look healthy and perky I wouldn't worry about it.
