purple plant in tropical climates

what strain will turn purple in a tropical climate with temperatures of around 80 degrees. preferably a sativa or mostly sativa that will flower late for a huge yield like power plant (dutch passion) or sage (thseeds).I have a hunch that plants can only turn purple in cold climates. is this true?

Some strains just grow purple. Climate has no bearing on those.

Yes... this is true. Purple has nothing to do with potency. This happens during flowering in cold climates where it gets cold like through october.

Grow a purple plant it will turn purple in any climate.
