HI PPL,

I HAVE 3 LADIE'S AND 2 OF THEM ARE STARTING TO GO PURPLE UNDERNEATH THE LEAVES! HAS ANYONE GOT ANY IDEA'S OF WHAT THIS MIGHT BE???? ONE IS LOOKING VERY HEALTHY BUT THE OTHER ONE IS QUITE DROOPY ! :wall::o

Any idea's of why it's drooping when they are all watered the same and all under the same setup?? I take it i shouldn't worrie about the purple then m8! Thanks for the quick reply

It is a soil grow, this plant has lagged behind the other 2 since they were planted really,
here are pic's of two of the plants, the small one is the one with purple underside the other is just so you can see the difference in health!! Thanks

Purple leaves and petioles could be a number of things. There are a few deficiencies that cause purple coloration on plants. Usually it's just genetics. You could be overwatering which could be causing the drooping. :weed:

yea i know that overwatering can cause it but i really dont think this is the case this time, they were watered yesterday and i only water when they are all dry for a day, it has been like this since the begining and i'm just wondering if it's just a shit plant!! the other plant that has alittle purple was the same but has purked up over the last 2/3 day's!!!

the soil is a mix that i was given, the m8 that i got it off has just flowered his plant's with no problems using the same mix!!

Some are due to genetics .

PH may have some to do with it also ,,, Although there are some old dirt farmers in here say that they don't even check it !

If you have a PH monitor you could check your run off when watering .

If it ain't broke don't try to fix it. Red leaves (underside) are very common genetics.

Over-watering causes root tot and death, not red leaves.

Yeah the purpleness on these plants are genetic, but by the way the pics look they seem over watered and over fed.

i used to worry about ph... had me going crazy, ph up oh shoot, ph down omg...
i dont mess with the ph, good water, good soil, good flush once in a while, repot with good fresh soil when looks like deficiency.

dont overthink about problems, youll cause more damage that way, keep it simple.

Ok thanks for all the info guy's i think i need to go get some good soil and see how that goes, my healthy plant is looking a little unhealthy now, im going to fluss them but how is best to do this, as iv never done it!! Sorry bout all the q's
