Purple coloring

I have this exact look going on in 1 of the tops on one plant, why wouldn't it happen on all the tops?

That happened to me as well. New Grower is right, cooler temps cause that. As it appears it disappear and that's all :)

quit givin him a hard time. atleast he had a quess for the guy.
if u dont know what it is and it turns out purple. its whatever u want it to be buddy!

better to leave a question unanswered then to give misinformation.

is not misinforation. if he has no clue, that means he probably didnt buy a particular strain, which means he probably got it from a bag of weed. then it could be any cross between a purple pheno of any strain and an unknown male of any strain. therefore he has an unnamed kind of purple weed. so its up to him to name it for when he sells it or shows it off to his buds
get it?

so...
the consensus seems to be it is not indicative of any specific strain

the possible causes could be genetics or cold weather (cool nights would be appreciated here in the midwest)

do I have that right?
