Sorry I wasn't trying to sound like dick, I had yet to see any string pulling branches away and down. At first I thought you had just let your plant grow and for some reason threw on the "LST" label in your thread title. You'd be suprised how many people toss around terms like LST, HYDRO, DR CHRONIC (this shit is the Dr Chronic!" etc etc. But yea, looks good man. Can't wait to see them in flower.
Oh and as far as the duct tape goes, hahaha, yea it looks niggarigged for sure. But with so many heads, its impractical to use screws because it gives me no versatility at all.

By the way mate, have you looked into those DIY threads on making cheap reflectors for CFL's? I've seen folks that rig them up with cut coke cans and swear by that shit.
Thrawn: after looking at your girl 40 times and the lst, i decided to go back in there and tie her down more. Ima gonna snap some pics...tell me what u think.
The most important part is the cross tie. If the stem isnt to thick, take some thick string, tie it around 2-4 inches up the stem and then secure it to your pot. THEN take another piece of string (yarn works really well, it doesnt damage the stem) and tie it about 5 inches above the first tie. Then secure this tie to the complete opposite side of the pot as your first. This pullls your stem in a 90 degree andgle without uprooting your roots!
i like it mate. check out my grow i should update pics. i'm more into the low style. you are nice to your girls. i've learnt that it doesn't matter too much if you treat them rough. the lower you go, the more growth it seems
i've since killed one of mine but my bigger lst is a fem so i'm happy. keep up the good LST work
great job. not only have you spread the plant out a bit, but your giving it a alot more surface area to absorb light. One more thing. Using multiple strings per branch is a good way to really control where your branches are going. If you can, tie another string around the last node of each bud and pull down, this will force it grow outwards until it can rebend upwards towards the light. repeat repeat. If you are having trouble bending the main stem down, you could tie a string around the top of the cola and pull to the side over and over until the other buds have caught up, thus giving you that wonderful even canopy.
