Pure skunk

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but since the search function is down, I guess I have to create a new thread for it.

Anyone here have any experience with growing pure skunk? I just got 15 skunk seeds from peakseedsbc.com and was just wondering if anyone can give me some tips, things to watch out for/expect, etc.. What kind of yield/bud quality can I expect? Is it potent?

Nobody's grown skunk?

I got the plants started, so any advice at this stage would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

I had two skunk plants, but I grew them outdoors. I used miracle grow soil with those little crystals that hold water in the soil, allowing the plant water when it needs it. The only problem with growing skunk, whether it be inside or outside, is the smell. Once the plants started budding, you could smell them from a good distance away. Unfortunately, mine were stolen. Place wasn't as secure as I thought it was :/.
You shouldn't run into too many problems. Were you planning on growing inside or out?

Indoors. I live alone and I don't have too many people over though, so I'm not particularly concerned with the smell - more in the actual growth of the plant itself and the quality of the bud. This is my first grow and I picked skunk because the site I bought the seeds from said it grows vigorously and is relatively tolerant of fertilizer and since I anticipate making a fair share of mistakes my first time around, I figured it might be a good idea to get a strain that is somewhat forgiving.

I was told the same from the bloke at the head shop
that i bought them from,told me to go with skunk#1
and pure power plant as it was my 1st grow and they
are easy to grow,can take abit of stick with ferts,and
give a good yealed.ideal 1st plant to grow......i was happy with the end result

Everytime I read a thread that says the search function is down, I go check it. Everysingletime its working? Whats up with that?

I dont have an answer about the skunk but I can chime in on flashgees comment about PPP. Nice plant, stayed short, didnt stink (too bad) and is a nice smooth smoke with a nice high.

Have you checked the seeds "M.O." to see what info is provided? Most strains have some kind of info about them. Like AK47...they straight up tell you it has a very powerful odor and be careful growing around neighbors.

Seems to be back up. When I created this thread it really was down and I hate creating duplicative threads as much as you guys hate reading them, so I always make sure I check the search function before I start threads.

skunk was a good selection for your first grow, it can take some abuse and still come out smellin like a rose! nice buzz too! I know i couldnt wait for my first grow to finish, so I could fire it up! enjoy yer grow and good luck!
